CODE OF
ETHICS AND COMPLIANCE
Global-E's Code of
Ethics is the foundation of our business culture and was derived
from both man’s innate feelings for knowing what is right and what
is wrong, and the ten principle laws. It is then augmented by the
more complex modern precepts of corporate business practices that
are demanded in today’s business climate.
Our business leaders
and personnel are both required to mitigate compliance risks and
improve yearly measured ethics scores as part of our continual
Quality and Reliability implemented Process Improvement Plan. We
plan to have a dedicated full time business Ethics Officer (EO) at
each site that will communicate standards, provide guidance,
investigate allegations and insist on employee accountability. They
are also responsible for ethics and compliance processes, training
and corporate decision-making.
The key to
achieving the goals as set forth in the company’s Roadmap, schedules
and long-term business plans all has to start with the proper
implementation of effective business ethics practices.
